Deuteronomy 7:9
"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments."
Reflection:
The story of Advent is a story of God’s faithfulness. From His covenant with Abraham to the fulfillment of His promises in Jesus, God’s faithfulness is woven through the pages of Scripture. He never forgets His people, and He always keeps His word.
In our own lives, we can see glimpses of His faithfulness if we take the time to look. From answered prayers to moments of grace in difficult seasons, God’s presence and provision remind us that He is trustworthy. During this Advent season, let’s reflect on the ways God has been faithful in the past and trust Him with the future, knowing that His love endures forever.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unchanging faithfulness. In a world that often feels uncertain, You are my firm foundation. Help me to trust in Your promises and to recognize Your hand at work in my life. Teach me to rest in Your love and to share the hope of Your faithfulness with others. Amen.
Challenge:
Take a moment to write down three ways God has shown His faithfulness in your life. Spend time thanking Him for each one, and consider sharing one of these testimonies with someone who needs encouragement today.
